A shadow caught my eye, it took my attention for a moment. I veered off and missed the lay-by, I set myself up into a rook of emotion.
I stepped out of my bright red shoes, all for a minute like I didn’t choose. The frost bit my toes as I stepped out in the unknown, a far place from home. A cry for help was lost like the wind, it returned to me sheer and dim.
I know the I know, the I am, the one who reaps and sows. Yet for a moment, I didn’t think I chose, I stepped out of my red shoes and the air bit my toes.
I am back at home now, safe in the shelter of the I am, I know. For with Him there is no loss or no cold. I cannot be lost, for I am with the I know.
